Customer Relations Associate
Job Description:
About: ACRO ENERGY ACRO ENERGY is a leading California solar power installer that is expanding rapidly into new markets. Integral to our growth strategy are customer referrals and strong word of mouth. As a fast growing leader in the Solar Installation Industry, ACRO ENERGY has established operations, marketing and sales offices throughout California. ACRO ENERGY has been installing commercial, residential and non-profit solar power and hot water systems in a variety of configurations for over two decades.
Position Overview:
We have an immediate need for a Customer Relations Associate who will ensure a quality customer experience and help expand our referral network. Your interpersonal skills and ability to think on your feet will be critical while working in our team environment and representing ACRO ENERGY to our clients. To succeed, you must demonstrate to our customers that we value their business, are eager and able to satisfy their requests, and understand who they are. You will spend significant amount of time out in the field, visiting customers and getting their feedback or coordinating events, including home shows, green fairs, or solar socials. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the operations team in our Pomona office. High performance will lead to fast promotion.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: • Welcome new customers and communicate with them throughout the installation process • Visit the customer’s home at the end of the process to review solar agreements and how the solar power system works • Photograph solar installations; catalog and archive records of each installation • Encourage satisfied customers to refer Acro Energy to others; accelerate word-of-mouth marketing through social media channels • Coordinate field events including fairs, home shows, or solar socials held in customers’ homes • Develop and implement creative ideas to increase Acro’s visibility and increase referrals • Expand Acro Energy’s understanding of customers by administering surveys and interviews; leverage customer understanding to improve marketing efforts
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Entry-level position; experience with customer service and marketing a plus • Excellent interpersonal skills; outgoing and positive personality; ability to connect with people of different backgrounds • Self-starter; ability to succeed in an environment lacking clear structure and constant guidance • Strong aptitude to learn and execute quickly • Ability to manage and prioritize different (sometimes competing) tasks • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Proficient with Microsoft Excel |
