Position Overview: Business Manager

• Lead sales and marketing efforts related to the development, sale, and operation of concentrator photovoltaic power plants to achieve sales target of $10 million in 2009
• Develop and explore opportunities from utility company’s CPV project tenders and request for proposals in U.S.
• Work with different overseas teams to successfully win project tenders
 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, manufacturing or business related discipline degree preferred
• Previous marketing experience; B2B marketing experience preferred
• At least 2-years of solar industry experience and CPV industry experience is preferred
• Ability to understand the details of technical, operations and business challenges as well as connect these details to the big picture
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and great attention to detail
• Willingness to travel
• Proven ability to manage projects, multi-task and prioritize
• High proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong experience in product or program management for hardware products
• Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams, and influence the success of outcomes
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and with offshore mass production preferred
• Solid experience in program or project management for hardware products.
