AREVA Solar - Designer/Estimator
Job Description:
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop drawings for ASME Section 1 Solar Boilers including General Arrangements, P&IDs, Facility Layouts, and Pipe Racks Systems. Work with proposal engineer and thermal systems engineer to develop customer drawings and respond to client data requests Work with estimators to develop estimating processes to facilitate automated bill of materials based upon standard equipment layouts and AREVA engineering standards or good industry practice. Work closely with AREVA Solar engineering team to apply standards and other technical design basis to specific project applications Facilitate information for client constructability reviews including piping weld counts, subassembly quantities, and design for construction activities TYPICAL PROJECTS MAY INCLUDE: Various product applications including stand alone power plant design, existing plant enhancements (boosters), and process applications. TRAVEL: Moderate: Routine with some international travel required.
