Position Overview:

The Solar Thermal Manager will assume responsibility for the short and long-term strategic departmental planning, developing partnerships and maintaining customer relationships. This experienced professional must present strong leadership skills with mentoring, managing and building the team. We seek a visionary with a desire to direct and lead the development of the Solar Thermal Division.                                                                                                                        

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the supervision of daily and long term commercial and residential projects with the ability to move through complexity and conflict while understanding and guiding the process.
  • In-depth understanding of diversity and has proven mentor and managerial success with guiding a team forward with targeted goals.
  • Manage through the business coordination with various internal departments; sales, accounting, engineering, warehouse, etc.
  • Directly manage project managers and crews and partner with the sales and engineering teams.
  • Manages the 8 Solar Thermal Team and the 2 Solar Thermal Repair Department. Responsible for the crew scheduling, planning, ordering, installing and repair process.
  • Create metrics timelines, cost reporting, analysis and implementation of operational improvements, jobsite efficiency reviews, annual budget reports and strategic planning.
  • Partner with other departments with vendor relationship negotiations and price management.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business to Business Sales Supporting Role
  • Knowledge of Solar Business a plus
